SRM JEE Examination 2023

For admission to B.Tech programs at any of the campuses of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, one needs to qualify SRMJEEE i.e. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination. The online registration for the same has begun. SRMJEE is conducted in 3 phases through Remote Proctored Online Mode and one student can appear in more than one phase.

Eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE

• Minimum age requirement of 16 years and 6 months of age 
• Passing 10+2 examination with minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognised board.
• Physics and Mathematics to be compulsory subjects in 10+2 with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Agriculture/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Business Studies/ Engineering Graphics as one of the major subjects.
• Indian Residents or NRIs can both apply.
• For International schools in India, GCE-level A /IB certificate/IB diploma with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects and one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects.
• SRM Institute of Science and Technology (previously known as SRM University) also provides direct admission and scholarships to top students from all central and state boards in India, the top 10,000 scorers in the IIT JEE, and exceptional athletes at the national and international levels in order to encourage and support students of exceptional talent.
• Kashmiri migrants get some relaxation in SRMJEEE admissions.
• Students appearing for Class 12 examination can also apply for SRMJEEE but they must attain 60% aggregate marks.

Application Process for SRMJEEE:

• For B.Tech admission at SRMIST, one needs to register online.
• SRMJEE is conducted in 3 phases and one student can appear in more than one phase. 
• Fill the application form separately for each phase and pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs.1200/- for each phase.
• Register with your email ID carefully as that email ID will be used for further correspondence and cannot be changed once submitted. 
• Keep your 10th Marksheet handy as the details of the same would be required to fill in the form.
• Other required documents include a photograph image (of specifications 200x 230px, 5MB), Signature image (140 x 60 px, 5 MB) and card or netbanking details for online payment.

Duration of the Examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes with a total of 125 questions of 1 mark each. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The examination will cover 5 subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English and Aptitude skills. Mathematics or Biology will be based on the course selected for admission.

The qualified candidates will need to register for Counselling online and select their preferred course as well as college. Once the seat is allotted, the student needs to pay the tuition fee and send the required documents for verification.
